Our
President
 |
Robert B. Steinberg has been
integrating systems, managing large projects,
deploying new technologies and leading start ups
throughout his professional life. He has deep
experience with both continuous process
manufacturing and job shop/project-based
construction and assembly. This gives him a
unique understanding of RFID’s value across
multiple industries and the know-how to lead
successful RFID process deployments and design
valuable RFID-enabled products.

Prior to founding Productivity by RFID, Rob
spent nine years leading multiple growth
initiatives at Fortune 500, $5 billion Avery
Dennison. Rob became involved with RFID while
leading the marketing effort of a multi-division
team assessing needs for inventory tracking,
anti-diversion, anti-theft, homeland security,
brand protection and rebate fraud. He also
founded and led a new division to develop,
manufacture and sell thin, printed, electronic
display systems. His division was showcased to
Wall Street on two occasions. Rob holds a patent
in electrochromic display systems for retail
applications.
Rob has two engineering degrees and an MBA from
M.I.T.
Our
Advisory Board
We are honored to have assembled a world
class Advisory Board.
Leonard Landau – Mr. Landau is a 39
year veteran of GE aircraft engines. He
contributes deep expertise in aerospace
manufacturing, operations planning, supply chain
productivity, cost attainment and system design.
Harvey Steinberg –
Mr. Steinberg is a 40 year veteran of
large-scale system assembly and integration in
the construction industry. He contributes great
expertise in contract negotiation, business
development, investor relations and
organizational growth.
William Herbert – Mr. Herbert is a 30
year veteran of the United States Air Force
during which he served as Deputy Chief of the
Pentagon’s Defense Logistics Agency. He has
years of RFID experience as an independent
consultant and with LXE. He contributes
invaluable creativity and wisdom related to
business development, RFID systems, logistics
and the DoD. Jay Celesti
– Mr. Celesti is a 35 year veteran of GE with
experience across Engineering and Manufacturing.
He was one of the original Six Sigma Master
Black belts to set up Six Sigma training,
mentoring and applications to improve products
and processes across Engineering and
Manufacturing. He has worked with leading edge
technologies throughout his career and led the
GE Metals Manufacturing Technology Center. This
organization was responsible for technology
transfer of all Manufacturing, Quality, and
automated material handling across the
corporation to improve productivity and drive
down costs. He is also very knowledgeable in
Lean Manufacturing mapping, processes and
applications. He has an MBA in Marketing from
Xavier University and a BSME from the University
of Cincinnati.
